THIMUN trip 2024!

From January 23rd to the 26th, 8 IB students went to The Hague to attend the THIMUN conference 2024, with students from 1STI and 2IB. The conference has participants from all over the world, with only 3 schools from Norway. Nesbru IB is extremely lucky to have been invited to this prestigious conference for the past 20 years with every participating student mentioning it as an unforgettable experience. Going to this conference allows every student to develop their communication, negotiation, public-speaking skills.

We represented Türkiye this year and learnt a lot more about political issues and possible solutions.

All delegates took part in writing excellent resolutions with nerve-racking situations. Having to stand up in front of 200 people to convince delegates to vote for your resolutions so they pass, speaking against resolutions, debating amendments was an exceptional experience, and we are proud to say that all our delegates took an important role to continue the debate within committees. All students ended the conference on a good note, with many memories, experiences, and knowledge.
