3IB Graduation

On the 22nd of May 2024, we were joined by friends, parents and teachers to celebrate the achievements and journey of the 3IB graduating class. These talented and hardworking individuals have now successfully completed the IB diploma programme, leaving their lasting and impactful mark on both our school and the community. 

The IB program is renowned for its challenging academics and focus on comprehensive education. It aims to develop critical thinking, independent research skills, and a global perspective throughout all aspects of the curriculum. Through each of their classes they have shown their profound abilities to problem solve, engage in research, and communicate their thoughts and opinions in meaningful discussion. This consistency and their love of learning is a standard which has inspired the 2IB class to great lengths and will continue to have its impact among the students.  

Beyond the walls of the classroom, the 3IB students have shown incredible leadership and commitment in a variety of service projects such as MUN, Project Less Alone, Nesbru Nursing Home, Bottle Clean-up, and many more. It is with their dedication to each of these projects that they have demonstrated empathy and a desire to better the community around them.

As the 3IB students move on towards the next chapter of their lives, it is without a doubt we believe they will continue to find success and use their experiences in the IB to make positive impacts on the world. 

So to the graduating IB class of 2024, congratulations on this remarkable achievement, and we are honoured to have been a small part of your journey here at Nesbru Videregående Skole!
